Wet food as the main meal or meals, kibble as the measured top-up and enrichment portion. This puts the water where it matters and keeps cost and convenience workable.
Two practical notes: count the kibble into the daily calorie total rather than treating it as free, and expect two to three weeks when switching an adult cat that has eaten dry its whole life.
You cannot leave wet food out for eight hours in an Athens summer. Portion it, and use a slow-feeder ball for the dry component instead.
