We hire people who live with animals. That is not a slogan — it is the first question in the interview and it has ended a few of them.
How we hire
Six people across two shops, a grooming room and one electric van. Nobody is on commission and there are no monthly targets, which means nobody here has to talk a customer into something.
Shifts are at Exarchia or Cholargos, occasionally both. Everyone does counter time, including the founders — Andreas still works Saturdays at Cholargos because that is where the regulars are.
The first interview question is about an animal you live with or have fostered. If you cannot answer it, this is not the right shop for you.

Advice, stock, till. Product training is paid and takes about six weeks.
Working with Marina in the Exarchia basement room. Academy qualification required.
Anestis the e-van and the scooters. Athens knowledge beats speed.
