Ferrets need to burrow and chase. Rice or shredded paper in a deep box works.

Buying guide
Ferrets swallow soft rubber and foam, and intestinal blockage is the most common emergency we hear about. Keep earplugs, shoe insoles and rubber toys out of reach entirely.
