Unlimited, same as rabbits. The fibre keeps the gut and the teeth working.
Bell pepper and leafy greens daily. Cheaper and more reliable than a vitamin drop in the water.
Tunnels and hides. Guinea pigs need running space, not climbing space.
Buying guide
Guinea pigs are obligate social animals — a single guinea pig is a welfare problem, not a preference. Pairs of the same sex, or a neutered male with a female.
Vitamin drops added to drinking water are the least reliable delivery method: the vitamin degrades in light within hours and the pig then drinks less because the water tastes odd. Use food.
