Cats
Scratching is not a behaviour problem to be solved. It is stretching, marking and claw maintenance — the job is to put the right surface where the cat already wants to scratch.
What we stock
The only toy that reliably gets an indoor cat properly moving. Put it away between sessions.
Tall enough for a full stretch, heavy enough not to wobble. Wobble is why posts get ignored.
Rated for adult weight, with platforms wide enough to actually sleep on.
Turning a meal into work is the best enrichment value in the shop.
Buying guide
A scratching post in the spare room does nothing. Cats scratch at the boundaries of the space they hold — next to the sofa arm they are already using is the correct location, however unappealing that is.
Vertical and horizontal are different needs. Many cats want both, and a flat cardboard scratcher is the cheapest experiment in the shop.
Eleni does Wednesday consultations at Exarchia by appointment. Petros runs the small-animal range at Cholargos.
